Presidency Programme of Events

The Presidency Programme of Events covers the main negotiations that will take place between world leaders at COP26.

The Green Zone Programme of Events sees youth groups, civil society, academia, artists and businesses host events, exhibitions, cultural performances, workshops and talks throughout COP26.

Indigenous voices are key in the fight against climate change. For too long they have not been heard. It’s great to see a pavilion dedicated to Indigenous voices at COP26.

Event Description: We have a dream – Get an insight into Nordic youths’ vision for the green future at COP26 in Glasgow and Nordic Climate Action Weeks in Helsinki the 10th of November. Climate change and biodiversity loss are interlinked issues that deserve equal attention. We will explore the policies and demands put forward by youth for climate and biodiversity through the Mock COP26 treaty and the Nordic Youth Position Paper on Biodiversity. We have talked to young people all over the Nordic countries about their fears and dreams for the future. We asked them to give their view of the best solutions to reach the desired future. Join us in bridging the gap between fears and dreams, present and future
