Kate Martin

Digital Coordinator

Kate is a PhD Candidate at the University of Central Lancashire specialising in climate change in the Pacific Islands. She previously completed a BA and MA in Asia Pacific Studies and has over 3 years of experience in research, digital coordination, and education.

She is interested in climate change, migration, sustainable development, and cultural anthropology. Kate is hoping to use her time at CHEC to learn more about the rich and diverse cultures and peoples of the Commonwealth and how their knowledge and skills can be channelled into sustainable development projects and policies. She also hopes that CHEC can be used as a platform to connect people across the Commonwealth and around the world so that they might work collectively to tackle climate change.
