The Commonwealth Human Ecology Council (CHEC) champions clear, evidence‑based voices on human ecology and the climate crisis, amplifying the work of researchers, practitioners, and community leaders whose insights shape sustainable futures. By publishing accessible books, reports, journals and resources, CHEC ensures vital ideas reach policymakers, educators, and the wider public—bridging academic rigour with practical action. CHEC hopes to increase the visibility and impact of research, honours the extraordinary people driving change, and fosters informed dialogue that empowers communities to respond effectively to environmental and social challenges. Through careful editing, strategic dissemination and commitment to equity, CHEC strives to transform knowledge into influence and action. The CHEC Publications Centre invites you to learn about Human Ecology and the work that CHEC does. In addition to our news articles and social media posts, CHEC produces Resources, CHEC Points, Journals, Books, and Annual Reports. CHEC has also put together several resources for Fast Fashion and Information Hubs for important events such as Earth Day, the UN Conference on the Status of Women, UN Conference of Parties (COP), and the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meetings (CHOGM).
