Happy World Bee Day

World Bee Day 2023 is being celebrated today, May 20th, and is significant for bees (and other pollinators) and conservationists around the globe. World Bee Day highlights the essential role that bees play in pollination and the ecosystem's sustainability, as well as to raise awareness about their declining population. Many countries are organising activities, workshops, and seminars to educate people about the significance of bees, such as planting bee-friendly flowers, building bee hotels, and using sustainable farming practices. Today also serves as a reminder of the need to implement effective measures to conserve bees and their habitats, to ensure their survival and the future of our planet's biodiversity. CHEC out our work on Bees and Pollinators across the Commonwealth.
