India’s first “Cool Bus Stop” launched at Lal Darwaja, Ahmedabad, India

The bus stop is fitted with a high-pressure mist cooling system and produces tiny water droplets that absorb heat from the environment. The cooling system is energy-efficient, consuming less electricity than traditional air conditioners, reducing energy usage, and lowering carbon emissions. This makes it a great eco-friendly cooling solution. This bus stop is part of the Ahmedabad heat Action Plan, and in collaboration with Mahila Housing Trust, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC), and the Ahmedabad Municipal Transport Services (AMTS).
